The moments you planned for, and the ones you didn’t.
Wedding & Elopement Portfolio
Below are a curated selection of my favourite recent adventures. I’d describe my style as relaxed, fun and natural with a documentary approach. For couples who want to be present, not posed.
FAQ
How many photos are included in our gallery?
You’ll receive a minimum of 400 photos. Although most galleries are at least 600. I spend a lot of time carefully curating your gallery and I work with. a quality over quantity mindset. The number varies wedding to wedding depending on different factors such as how many guests you have, how much travel is involved between venues etc.
A good rule of thumb is around 50-100 photos per hour of shooting
When do we receive our photos?
You’ll receive 10-15 previews within 48 hours and your full gallery within 6 - 8 weeks. I always try to deliver earlier than this but during peak season it can take longer. I would rather not rush and deliver a better gallery.
FAQ
What is your booking process?
Once you’ve enquired and we’ve had a chance to talk things through, I’ll send over a digital contract and booking invoice. Once both are taken care of, your date is secured in my calendar and I won’t consider
any other enquiries for that day. Around four weeks before your wedding, the remaining balance is due. At that point I’ll also send you a short questionnaire so I can gather the final details and make sure
everything is covered ahead of the day.
Do you travel for weddings & elopements?
Yes. I photograph weddings across the UK and regularly travel across the UK and beyond. I have captured celebrations from the ski slopes in Switzerland, the streets of Manhattan and close to home. I love to travel so I’m always up for destination weddings and elopements worldwide.
FAQ
Are our photos backed up?
Yes. Your photos are backed up in multiple places throughout the whole process, from the moment they are taken I am using two SD cards in each of my two camera bodies so your images are immediately copied to a second card when I take a photo. Once home I back the cards up to an external hard drive and cloud storage. Your gallery will also stay online for several months so you have plenty of time to download everything.
What happens if our timeline runs late?
Weddings rarely run perfectly to schedule and that’s completely normal. I always build a bit of flexibility into the day. If things run over I won't be leaving after 'X' amount of hours.
FAQ
Have you photographed at our venue before?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Either way I always arrive early to get a feel for the space and the light, and years of photographing weddings means I can adapt quickly to any venue or location. If it is local to me I will try and do a site visit beforehand but it isn't necessary for great photos.
What happens if it rains all day?
This is a completely understandable worry and one we have to think about living in the UK! If it rained all day non stop then I would move the couples portraits, group photos and any other key moments indoors. There is always a lovely spot inside venues that we can utilise if the outdoor space isn't doable. Saying that, it is extremely rare that it rains constantly, there are usually breaks in the weather even for 10 minutes here and there, and we can get everything done in that timeframe, trust me!
FAQ
Will you help with our timeline?
Absolutely. I’m always happy to help with timelines, especially when it comes to making sure there’s enough time for photos without the day feeling rushed.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Most weddings are photographed by me alone, which keeps things relaxed and unobtrusive. For larger weddings (100+ guests) or if you’d like extra coverage, a second photographer can be added on.
FAQ
Do you offer videography?
I specialise in photography, but I regularly work with a small number of talented wedding videographers whose style and approach work really well alongside mine. If you’re looking for video too, I’d be happy to recommend them.
Do you edit our photos?
Yes. Every image in your gallery is personally colour graded & tweaked by me to keep the look and feel consistent with my style.
